Dude...that SUCKED!!!!!
Fearing that I was malnourished today and would likely "bonk" I had can of tuna (no, not the chunk-light crap...solid white albacore is the only way to go. Chunk light belongs with cream-corn in the orphanage. Sorry T, I will always be out on cream-corn.) and some water crackers to put a little fuel in the engine. I fully remembered Tony emphasizing NOT TO EAT AT LEEEAST AN HOUR BEFORE DOING PLYO. So I waited an hour and a half. That should be good right?
THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE HOUR OF P90X EVER!!!!! I would have rather done Ab Ripper X for a solid hour. What Tony should have said is, if you eat within 3 hours before plyo make sure it is a few orange wedges and a handful of almonds and that's it!!!
I so wanted to skip the "Sports Bonus", but I hung in there and finished it out. Sure I had to adopt some of the adjustments, but I motored through just below their pace which is normal for me now.
I just wasn't a happy camper is all.
Lesson learned.

ReplyDeleteNuts don't work for me before a workout at all. I'm kinda surprised the tuna gave you such an issue with an hour and a half, but I also know that some of my best hardcore workouts are done on an empty stomach (first thing in the morning though). Live and learn. Way to motor through anyway, bro.
Insanity would have been awesome. For us readers that is. Don't you know by now the advise I give is somewhat centered around the fun I will have reading your blog. I mean, come on, I am dying to read about a puking after or during a workout story. I think insanity can take you therey brous.
